My Background
My love for photography started as a teenager many years ago. It has had various challenges and starts and stops over the years, but now I have an opportunity to pursue my craft on a full time basis. My former career in graphics at the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® laid the foundation and has provided some very valuable connections that will carry me through the next phase of my life. I now have the freedom to concentrate on turning my visions into reality, and in doing so, will provide an inner peace as I produce a body of work I can be proud of.
Photography as Visual Communication
Not many things bring me as much pleasure and excitement as when I'm fortunate enough, and lucky, to capture an image that stirs my soul. Some of those images appear on this site. The ultimate in gratification is when one of my images creates a connection or an emotion in the person viewing the image.
My Personal Style
My Style is an eclectic one. I'm not a photojournalist or an absolute photography purest. I will be the first to admit I'm a master of nothing. I love aviation photography for the excitement and the people in that community. I will never be the best, but I will never give up on trying. Landscape and wildlife photography give me a sense of relaxation which I thoroughly enjoy. I relish the challenge of event photography and look for the unusual, along with those that satisfy the needs of my clients.
